Growing into the therapist you want to become starts with curiosity.
Supervision is about so much more than collecting hours. It's where you begin developing your clinical voice, building confidence, and learning to trust your own thinking.
Whether you're just beginning your clinical journey or preparing for licensure, supervision at Honeycomb is designed to be collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in both research and real-world clinical practice.
My role isn't to create therapists who think like me. It's to help you become the therapist you want to be.
Learning together. Thinking together. Growing together.
Supervision is tailored to where you are in your training and what you need most in this stage of your professional development. Sessions may include case consultation, role plays, reviewing recordings, strengthening clinical documentation, exploring theoretical approaches, building confidence with difficult conversations, or processing the challenges that naturally come with becoming a therapist.
Some sessions focus on clinical skills. Others focus on helping you make sense of your own reactions as a therapist. Because both matter.
Good therapists don't memorize answers.
They build toolboxes.
One of the biggest misconceptions about becoming a therapist is that you're supposed to have all the answers. You're not. You're learning how to think.
Together, we'll build a clinical toolbox filled with different ways of conceptualizing cases, asking thoughtful questions, navigating difficult conversations, and adapting to the unique needs of every client you meet.
Areas of supervision may include:
Case conceptualization
Couple and family therapy
Neurodivergent clients and relationships
Systemic thinking
Clinical documentation
Ethical decision-making
Relational interventions
Role plays and skills practice
Reviewing recorded sessions
Developing your theoretical orientation
Preparing for licensure
Building confidence as a therapist
Let’s think through it together.
Whether you're looking for ongoing supervision or exploring whether Honeycomb is the right place for your clinical training, I'd love to connect and learn more about your goals.
